How do you know what to invest in your business, when to invest it, and the order in which you should be investing?
This question comes up a lot in my Masterclass group and with my individual clients, and it is a good question. I’m not going to sugarcoat it, it costs money to make money. You have to invest in your business in order to build your business.
In this episode of Leading Lady, I’m sharing how to know when to invest in your business and what you should invest in. No one starts a business without having to put forth an investment of either time or money. Investing in your business is a way to level up with how you’re showing up as a professional.
So where do you start? It can be overwhelming to make this decision. The truth is that business isn’t really linear. You just have to start where you are. Setting money aside and knowing that you’re going to use it to invest in your business is a constant part of being a business owner.

Just start where you are. Think of your business as a spiral staircase where you’re constantly revisiting things and doing internal audits. Work with the budget you have and plan for the budget you want. Doing this will help your business continue to grow over time.
