I don’t believe that makeup is meant to hide our faces. It’s meant to enhance the features we already have. Don’t you agree?
Some people might have the understanding that makeup is used to hide features, but I don’t look at it that way! My guest, Samia Freeman, doesn’t either!
Samia Freeman is a makeup artist, skincare consultant, and beauty educator who is passionate about empowering women through their own inner beauty. She educates women on product knowledge as well as skincare and makeup application so they can feel confident incorporating the techniques into their everyday routine. Her approach is always client-focused, engaging her clients throughout the process as they prepare for their special events, so they feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- Why beauty is so much more than makeup
- Using makeup as a way to express creativity
- Taking care of our skin and nurturing it
- Glowing from the inside out through proper nutrition
- Educating yourself on what you are putting on your skin
- Where to start if you want to take better care of your skin
- Making sure your makeup looks as natural as possible
This episode is so empowering. I love talking about ways that we can all feel more confident in our own skin and take care of ourselves.
I hope you learned a thing or two from Samia and are encouraged to show off your skin even through your makeup!
Remember, it’s a total misconception that you have to be really “girly” to be interested in makeup or invested in skincare. Taking care of your skin and being confident in your features is important for absolutely everyone!
